Falk Rockstroh

Falk Rockstroh was born in Schneeberg, Saxony, in 1958. After training at the “Hans Otto” drama institute in Leipzig, his first engagements took him to theatres in Zwickau, Neustrelitz and Halle. He then went to Berlin, where he was engaged at the Deutsches Theater from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2006 he was an ensemble member at the Schaubühne in Berlin. Subsequently, he had various guest appearances at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and Deutsches Theater in Berlin. He has been a member of the Burgtheater ensemble since 2010. He also regularly works as a voice-over artist and film and TV actor, most recently in Der Fall Collini (The Collini Case), a screen adaptation of Ferdinand von Schirach’s novel, directed by Marco Kreuzpaintner. Falk Rockstroh is a member of the German Film Academy.
