Florian Teichtmeister

Florian Teichtmeister, born 1979 in Vienna, trained at the Max Reinhardt Seminar and already performed on several Austrian stages during his studies, including the Volkstheater. In addition to his stage work, he has a number of film and TV credits, was nominated for a Romy Award in the Most Popular Shooting Star category in 2004, won the Nestroy Theatre Award in the NESTROY ORF III Audience Award category in 2013, and was nominated for Best Actor in 2016. For almost 15 years he was a member of the ensemble at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna and became a permanent member of the Burgtheater ensemble in 2019/20. Florian Teichtmeister was part of the Burgtheater ensemble until January 2023.
