Philipp Hauß

Philipp Hauß, born in Münster in 1980, studied drama at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, as well as philosophy and cultural studies. In 2002 he joined the ensemble at the Burgtheater in Vienna. Hauss has performed at the Residenztheater, the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg and the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. In 2015 he was nominated for the Nestroy Theatre Award in the Best Supporting Role category, and in 2016 he received the Rolf Mares Theatre Award. In addition to his stage work, Philipp Hauß also acts in film and TV productions and works as a director and author (at the Theater der Zeit, among others).
