Abschied von Peter Matić

The Burgtheater mourns the loss of Kammerschauspieler Peter Matić, who died unexpectedly on 20 June 2019. We bid farewell to a great actor and a wonderful person, and celebrate his life with audio-visual recordings and personal anecdotes from colleagues and companions. When Peter Matić was once told by a reporter that she had yet to find someone he had ever been unfriendly to, he replied: “Keep looking. I find unfriendliness completely unnecessary.”
