Ticket personalisation

Official Covid-19 regulations stipulate that all admission tickets must be personalised and must bear contact details. Unfortunately, we cannot issue tickets if you do not provide your contact details.

We kindly ask all visitors to present a form of ID before the performance. Only persons with tickets bearing their own name will be allowed admission into the venue.

Personalisation at the box offices, fixed subscription hotline or credit card hotline

When making a booking, you will be asked for your contact details and that of your companion(s). Please note that we can only accept your booking if you have provided all this information. It is your responsibility to obtain your companions’ consent before sharing their contact details.
We have put together some recommendations for you to make booking tickets as quick and easy as possible:

Do your companions have a Bundestheater customer account?

If your companions have a Bundestheater customer account with up-to-date contact details, please ask them for their customer IDs so that we can use them to personalise their tickets when you make a group booking.
You can check whether the contact details under a specific customer ID is up to date in any of the following ways:

  • at tickets.burgtheater.at go to “Change user data” after signing in with the user name in question

  • Go to one of the Bundestheater box offices

  • Send an email to info@burgtheater.at with your current contact details, so that we can update them for you if necessary 

 

Do your companions not yet have a Bundestheater customer account?

If not, please ask your companions to register for free before you make the group booking. They will have to provide their name and current contact details to register. This can be done in any of the following ways:

How it works:

  • When making your booking, you will be alerted that you have to switch to the Customer Support menu item after completing your booking and provide the contact details for all seats under “Change user name”.

  • Please note that your tickets cannot be issued until all contact details have been provided.

 

Personalisation in the Burgtheater app 

How it works:

  • After completing your booking, your tickets will appear in the app. If you are booking more than one ticket, we kindly ask you to forward the tickets to your companion(s). 

  • To forward the tickets please save your companions’ contact details (name, email and telephone) on your smartphone.

  • Forward the app tickets individually to each companion under the Tickets menu item: Click on the forwarding button on the ticket in question and select the person from your contacts who is to receive the ticket.

  • If your companion has the Burgtheater app on their smartphone, the ticket will be sent straight to the app and will appear there under “Tickets”.

  • If your companion does not have the app, their ticket will be held at the box offices under their name and that of the person who made the booking. They can collect their ticket from our box offices.
