Johannes Zirner

Johannes Zirner, born 1979 in Herdecke, trained as an actor and director at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. Engagements at the Burgtheater and Salzburg Festival, as well as at the Schauspielhaus Bochum followed. He has worked as a freelance actor, with appearances at the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, for example, and was part of the ensemble at the Residenztheater in Munich. In addition to his stage work, he has acted in a number of film and TV productions. In the 2019/20 season, Johannes Zirner joined the Burgtheater as a permanent member of the ensemble.
