After the album-release in October, Philipp Hochmair is once again guest at the Burgtheater with his new program. Together with his band, DIE ELEKTROHAND GOTTES, he transforms Schiller’s famous ballads into an excessive rock concert. Elegant German poetry meets electronic beats!

The poems, dating back more than 200 years, are something of an elixir of life for Hochmair. For him, they have nothing to do with the compulsory memorising of poems at school or with the educated bourgeoisie, but rather with techno, industrial and ecstasy:
